Russian New Year Celebration

We were fortunate enough to attend the CHSFS Russian New Year Celebration in January! We've never attended before and thought now would be a great time for Gabriella to par take in this higher level experience!

Auntie Becky and Uncle Dale accompanied us for Gabriella's adoption in 2004. So it seemed perfect that they would attend the Russian event with us as a family! We wouldn't have it any other way, either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Alex, our and currect Russian coordinator. He came this year to visit and we totally feel blessed to have spent time with him and share our family with him. He is talking to Gabriella in this picture and giving gifts from Russia.

Alex was so overwhelmed to see us at the Russian New Year event! He cried and we cried along with him. Very emotional for everyone. Little Gabriella kept hugging him and in her little mind she seemed to think he was the "greatest" thing!

This is our group!!! Becky & Dale, Alex, and Ryan and I with girls! Alex was amazed to see all our beautiful little girls! We promised that we would see him again in Russia soon! We look forward to traveling back to Russia when Gabriella is older and visit the places of Gabriella's heritage.

Get ready Becky and Dale...we have about 5-6 years until we see Russia!
